  1. The Giants should DEFINITELY play another game at Candlestick park. That would be awesome. It is their true home since 1957!!!

  2. Althoug I love to watch the niners at the Stick, I have the fondest memories buying bleacher seats for one dollar and watching the beloved Giants. AT&T is a beautiful park but I would definitely love the see a few more games at the stick. If they are scheduled, I will be going to every one of the games at the Stick.

  3. You definitely have the best idea since Eiffel built his tower…One more at the stick is definitely a great idea. The ‘Stick is much underrated but still cherished as a great baseball venue by those of us who appreciated Giants baseball in its purer, pre-Bonds incarnation.

  6. I’ve been telling friends for years that there should be an annual Giants/Dodgers series at the ‘Stick. I’d probably even settle for the 3 pre-season games in San Francisco being played at Candlestick Point.

I used to live (during the 60’s,WOW,has it been fourty years already?)on 3rd St about a mile from the Stick and have so many memorires of going to games during the summer with my buddies to see Mays,Mac & Juan play.I dont know ow a team can have so many Hall of Famers and never win a Championship.The idea of the pre-season games sounds cool,along with one series against Da Bums. Its o.k. Peter,I dont think you will go bankrupt by doing this. FIVE MORE AT THE STICK !!

I remember watching my first Giants games in the 70’s, Willie Mays (both in Giants and Mets uniforms), Willie McCovey, Bobby Bonds, Barry Bonds, Randy Moffett, Dave Dravecky, Will Clark and many more players that have reached the HOF….. Now, if only I can bring my children once more to Candlestick for another game since they’ve grown up and would know more about the history of the Giants before they played at Pac Bell. I agree with everyone about playing pre-season games there.
